During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic supply shortages of critical pieces of medical PPE became a major issue. IdeatoLife engineers, working in collaboration with The Harry Perkins Institute worked to develop a locally manufacturable face shield design, and performed testing to obtain TGA incorporation.

The shields used locally sourced plastics, ergonomic moulded foams and bands. Designs were rapidly iterated in conjunction with testing and professional feedback to deliver a dependable, quality product.

Excellent quality materials are used throughout, and the shields were delivered on time to the Department of Health- servicing our vital healthcare workers during a time of crisis. We really loved being a part of this important project
